Girish G. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Girish is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Upshop, where they lead the engineering division and oversees the development and maintenance of three market-leading products in the fresh food industry. As the Director of Cloud Engineering at Upshop, they were responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure and operations from October 2019 to June 2021. Prior to their role at Upshop, Girish worked as a Software Architect, designing and building the industry-leading Fresh Item Management software platform FreshIQ™. Girish has also held positions at Tech Data as a Senior Technical Consultant, at Citi as a Technical Specialist/Senior Consultant, and at Franklin Templeton Investments as a Senior Software Consultant. Girish began their career as a Lead Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions and has also worked as an IT Consultant at Frontier Systems Inc. and as a Software Engineer at Siemens Communications Software.

Girish G. holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from Mahatma Gandhi University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in September 2015.
