José Pedro Soutinho

José Pedro Soutinho serves as the Executive Director of CEDES, an association focused on European Policies, Innovation, and Sustainable Development, since January 2008. Soutinho possesses extensive expertise in European policies and programmes, contributing as Lead Expert at the EU Urbact Programme and serving as a Project Evaluator for the European Commission's H2020 Programme. Additionally, since March 2017, Soutinho has taken on the role of Lead Expert for the URBACT Programme, coordinating the development of integrated action plans and facilitating transnational meetings. Prior experience includes serving as Innovation Director at Industrias Cunha Barros, S.A., where Soutinho led a team focused on developing hardware and software for the cable industry. José Pedro Soutinho holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Universidade do Porto.
