In 1996, Maria ventured into freelance work, focusing on public relations, communication, and event management.
In 1999, Maria joined NERA Economic Consulting as a Receptionist, providing administrative support to various departments of the company. Maria excelled in managing office operations and maintaining relationships with suppliers and service providers. Maria continued to expand their skills and responsibilities within the company and eventually became an Office Manager, overseeing the overall functioning of the office and organizing internal events.
In 2000, Maria briefly worked as an Account Executive at Comunicación Empresarial (Porter Novelli- Omnicom Group), where they implemented communication and media plans, organized press conferences, and distributed press releases. Maria then returned to NERA Economic Consulting as an International Communication Manager, responsible for international communication strategies, managing communication agencies, and distributing press releases to international media.
Maria's career took a turn towards the IT sector in 2004 when they joined an IT company as an International Communication Manager and later as a Communications Consultant. Their responsibilities included implementing international communication plans, managing communication agencies, and distributing press releases to international media.
In 2014, Maria became a Freelance Professional Independent, combining their skills in communication and administrative management. Maria worked as a Community Manager, drafted promotional materials in Spanish for a tourism company, and handled various administrative tasks.
Since 2021, Maria has been working for various companies in administration management roles, handling administrative tasks such as document submission, notary management, and registry management.
Most recently, Maria joined Urban Campus in 2023 as an Office Manager, where they are responsible for managing office operations and providing support to the team.
