Marta Torres Vilas has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing and communications industry since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Project Assistant at Planta S.A International Consultants, where they were responsible for helping with projects related to developing indigenous communities through tourism. In 2010, they worked as a Trainee at Hilton Worldwide and as a Translator/Interpreter at Sprachlernen 24 M\u00fcnchen, Online Media World. From 2012 to 2017, Marta worked at NH Hotel Group, first as a Global Strategic Marketing Manager in the Marketing and Brand Strategy department, and later as a MICE Sales & Trade Marketing Manager in the Corporate Commercial Department. In 2017, they joined trivago as a Global Product Marketing Manager in the Market Intelligence and Product Communication Strategy team. Finally, in 2019, Marta became the Head of Marketing & Communication at Urban Campus, a coliving operator.

Marta Torres Vilas completed their High School Degree at Swiss School Madrid from 1993 to 2006. Marta then earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2006 to 2011, with a field of study in ADE bilingue. In 2008 and 2009, they earned their Master's degree from IED Madrid, with a field of study in Design and Marketing. Marta also earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Technical University of Munich from 2009 to 2010, with a field of study in Marketing.
