Kay Rodriguez

Kay Rodriguez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They are currently the Founder & CEO of Outerly, a position they took up in May 2022. Prior to this, they founded Urban Outdoors in December 2019. They also served as a Mentor - Path Ahead Ventures at REI in April 2022. From August 2017 to January 2022, Kay was the Founder of Jetfarer, which was later acquired. They also worked as the Chief of Staff at ExplORer Surgical from June 2019 to May 2020. Additionally, Kay worked as a Performance Marketing Consultant as a freelancer from May 2018 to June 2019. They were associated with National Geographic from May 2017 to May 2018, where they held the roles of Associate Director, Digital Strategy & Business Development, and Manager, Business Development. Kay started their professional career as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company from October 2015 to May 2017. They also worked as a Tutor Analyst at General Academic, Inc. from January 2014 to June 2015, where they were recognized as a top 5% tutor. Prior to that, they were a Community Manager at OwlSpark Accelerator from January 2014 to January 2015, where they led media outreach projects and assisted with outreach events.

Kay Rodriguez attended Rice University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cognitive Science.
