Duncan Long

Duncan Long has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Duncan currently holds the position of Senior Director of Product Management at Urbint, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, Duncan worked at Amazon as the Mgr, Supply Chain Innovation from June 2021 to January 2023 and as a Senior Program Manager - Supply Chain Innovation Strategy from November 2022 to January 2023. Duncan was also employed at IFS North America as a Senior Product Manager from April 2021 to June 2021 and as a Product Line Manager - Smart Cities from May 2017 to April 2021.

Duncan's earlier experience includes working at Long Project Consulting Ltd. as a Technical Project Manager from January 2013 to May 2017, at Clevest Solutions Inc as an Implementation Specialist from September 2010 to December 2012 and as a Jr. Implementation Specialist from January 2010 to August 2010. Duncan also briefly held the role of Professional Services Assistant at Clevest Solutions Inc. from October 2009 to December 2009. Additionally, Duncan worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as an Assistant Inventor for a few months in 2007 and at The University of British Columbia as a Research Assistant from January 2006 to July 2006. Lastly, they gained experience as a Junior Instructor at Strikes, where they coached and motivated young children in soccer from January 2000 to January 2003.

Duncan Long obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Physics with an English Literature minor from The University of British Columbia. Duncan attended the university from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also received certifications such as PMC Level III, The Business of Data Science, Focus, Foundations, and PMC Level II from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) around 2017 and 2019. Duncan also holds certifications in MCTS: Managing Project with Microsoft Project 2010, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from institutions such as Microsoft and the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the years 2012 and 2011 respectively.
