Global Director, Corporate Development at URUS Group

Stace Wills has a diverse and extensive work experience. This includes their current role as the Global Director of Corporate Development at URUS Group since 2020. Prior to this, they held various positions at different organizations. From 2010 onwards, they were the Board Chair and Co-Founder of The Strongest Oak Foundation (TSO), an international non-profit organization that focuses on providing solar power to African villages. In 2011, they joined Innovate Calgary where they served as the Partner at UCeed Fund & Director of New Ventures. Stace also had the role of VP Energy and VP Company Creation at Innovate Calgary. Stace Wills was also involved with SeeO2 Energy Inc. as the Board Chair and Advisory Board Member from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at Helix Biopharma Corp from 2013 to 2015. Further back in their career, Stace Wills held the role of Senior Director of Corporate Development at Elluminate, Inc. from 2005 to 2010. Stace was also the Director of Corporate Development and New Products at Alta Genetics from 2001 to 2004. Prior to these roles, they were a Partner, Co-founder, and Board Chair at Accolade Capital / Accolade Private Companies Fund LP, a seed-stage angel capital firm.

Stace Wills completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Marketing at the University of Calgary from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, in 1997 to 1998, Stace attended the Canadian Securities Institute and obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.
