Jarod Bailey

Jarod Bailey is a Physical Scientist at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since May 2022, acting as a communications coordinator for multiple groups in the Sector Policies and Programs Division within the Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards. Responsibilities include managing projects for internal teams to engage with various stakeholders through informational and listening sessions. Jarod has also served as a research participant, conducting in vivo and in vitro studies on the effects of environmental chemicals on cellular targets related to the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal and thyroid axes, supporting research under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Previously, Jarod completed a meteorologist internship at BAMWX LLC, where assistance was provided in weather forecasting and historical climate data analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Climate Change and Society from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University Indianapolis.
