Jack Miller is the Deputy Director of Communications at the Office of Personnel Management.
Miller serves as a senior leader on the communications team and an advisor to the OPM Director and agency leadership. Miller leads the development and execution of messaging and strategy, as well as manages the speechwriting, press, digital, and content teams at OPM. Before joining OPM, Miller served as the communications director for Invest in America and worked as a private media consultant.
Miller started his career in the environmental movement and has worked in more than a dozen states for activist groups, congressional candidates, and presidential campaigns. He spent three years in Congress working for Congressman Ami Bera (D-CA) and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC). More recently, Miller served as a contract speechwriter and strategic communications advisor for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Miller earned his master's degree in energy and environmental security at Johns Hopkins University and his bachelor's degree from Tufts University.
