Tamara Tranter

Tamara Tranter has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Tamara is currently the Chief Development Officer at USA Hockey, where they are responsible for overseeing development initiatives. Tamara also worked as a Philanthropic Consultant and Senior Director of Philanthropy at USA Volleyball. Prior to that, they held various positions in development and athletics at organizations such as the Colorado School of Mines Foundation, Wayne State University, and Michigan State University. Their roles have included Director of Development, Associate Director of Athletics, and Athletics - Director of Operations/Volleyball. Tamara has also worked as an Assistant Volleyball Coach and a Head Volleyball Coach at The University of Findlay and Olivet College, respectively. In addition to their career in sports, they have experience in finance as a Financial Analyst for an Entertainment Publication. Throughout their career, Tamara has demonstrated skills in major gifts, relationship building, and leadership.

Tamara Tranter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance from Wayne State University. Tamara also holds a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology, with a specialization in Sport Administration from Michigan State University. Tamara has pursued post-graduate studies in the Ph.D. program for Business Administration and Management, General at Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications in various leadership and management programs, including The Allstate Foundation Executive Leadership Program from Kellogg Executive Education, Philanthropic Psychology from the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy, and TEAM USA Leadership - Non-profit Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
