With extensive experience in public health, Israel has held roles as a Senior Scientist in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service and as a Senior Staff Health Insurance Specialist at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where responsibilities included implementing healthcare quality measures, managing evaluations, and advising on program oversight. Israel holds a PhD in Gerontology and has a background in sociology and biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, along with recent education from the University of Southern California.
