Chuk Ogobuiro DNP, MBA, RN, PMH-BC, NEA-BC has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare settings. Most recently, they served as the Director of Nursing at UT Health East Texas starting in April 2022. Prior to that, Chuk held the position of Senior Manager for Behavioral Health Services and Acute Behavioral Health Manager at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (UT Health) from 2017 to 2022.

Before their roles at UT Health, Chuk worked as the Director of Clinical Services at Allegiance Health Management from 2016 to 2017. Chuk also gained experience as a Trauma, Orthopedic, and Bariatric Registered Nurse at UT Health East Texas from 2014 to 2016.

Chuk's earlier healthcare experience includes working as a nurse in Geriatric Care at Trisun Healthcare from 2010 to 2015, as well as holding multiple roles as a Registered Nurse at Azalea Place from 2013 to 2015.

In 2010, they earned an Associate's degree in Nursing from Platt College-Dallas. Chuk then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Texas at Tyler from 2012 to 2014. In 2017, Chuk completed both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations and an MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. Most recently, from 2018 to 2021, they achieved a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Executive Healthcare Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler. In addition to their degrees, Chuk obtained certifications such as Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
