Gloria Salinas

Gloria Salinas has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Gloria began their career as a Financial Aid Advisor at UTB/TSC in 2003, where they successfully achieved departmental advising goals and progressed through different capacities. Gloria then worked as a Manager of Yard Operations at Union Pacific Railroad from 2008 to 2010, where they integrated into an experienced management team and was responsible for active decision-making affecting customer service and budget. After that, Salinas worked as a Senior Financial Planning Advisor at Hallmark University from 2010 to 2012, where they developed methods to collect and analyze data for performance reports. Gloria then joined USAA as a Mortgage Loan Processor from 2012 to 2013, where they successfully maintained workload to meet team goals. Salinas is currently the Director of the Office of Institutional Research at UT Health San Antonio, where they have been since 2013. In this role, they have developed and executed query report viewers, implemented new processes to improve payroll accuracy and compliance, and received exemplary performance evaluations. Overall, Salinas has a strong background in financial aid, financial planning, and operations management.

Gloria Salinas earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University-San Antonio from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in 2012. Gloria obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Texas at Brownsville in 2007.
