Matthew Swedlund

Matthew Swedlund has worked at UW Health since 2014. Matthew'sroles at UW Health include Primary Care Service Chief, Assistant Professor (CHS), Medical Director, and Clinical Assistant Professor. Matthew started as a Clinical Assistant Professor in October 2014 and ended in January 2018. Matthew then became a Medical Director in April 2016 and held this position until January 2020. In January 2018, they also started as an Assistant Professor (CHS), and they continue to hold this position. Additionally, Matthew worked at the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine as a Resident Physician from July 2011 to August 2014.

Matthew Swedlund completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Genetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, graduating in the year 2011. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, Matthew attended the Wisconsin School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business.
