Kelly Schillemans

Kelly Schillemans is a dedicated neonatal intensive care nurse with over 23 years of experience in neonatology, currently serving as the Unitveranwoordelijke neonatale intensieve zorgen at UZA since February 2000. Kelly has played a significant role in the development of a new neonatal unit, including designing the space, overseeing construction, and resolving issues during the transition. In addition to their nursing career, Kelly is a co-owner of Kalmya, a fashion business established in January 2023, which offers women's clothing both online and at local pop-up events. Kelly's education includes specialized training in pediatrics and neonatology from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool and advanced qualifications in Family and Infant Neurodevelopmental Education from Erasmus MC Academie.
