Kenny Picavet

Kenny Picavet is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering. As the founder of Picavet IT and a software engineer at VAB since July 2022, Picavet brings a diverse skill set to the table. Previous roles include serving as the frontend technical lead at Rydoo from May 2012 to June 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining an Angular application and transitioning to a monorepo approach with Nx. Picavet also contributed as a full stack developer and .NET developer during the tenure at Rydoo, creating new applications and managing both front-end and back-end development. Earlier experience includes software engineering at Vanasoft, focusing on Visual Basic 6 applications for warehouse management, and an internship at Groupwave developing a CV web application in Java. Kenny Picavet holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, obtained in 2011.
