Angela Robinson

Angela Robinson has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Angela is currently working at Vaccitech as a Senior Scientist, where they started in February 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Research Associate at Vaccitech from February 2019 to March 2023.

Before joining Vaccitech, Angela worked as a Nanoparticle Scientist at Midatech Pharma from March 2015 to December 2018. Angela also served as a Laboratory Technician at CN Bio Innovations from April 2013 to March 2015, and as a Laboratory Assistant in the Analytical Screening Department at Alere Toxicology Plc from April 2011 to April 2013.

Angela took a break from their career in 2005 to focus on maternity leave and resumed working in April 2011. During this period, they worked in a research role as a Research Associate at OXXON THERAPEUTICS LIMITED from May 2002 to September 2005, and as a Principal Molecular Biology Associate at Oxford Genetics Ltd from May 2000 to May 2002.

Earlier in their career, Angela built their foundation as a Clinical Scientist at the National Blood Service from May 1998 to April 2000. Angela was responsible for assay development for the detection of bacterial contaminants in blood products in this grant-funded role. Angela began their professional journey as a Research Technician at Newcastle University from May 1996 to April 1998.

Angela Robinson completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Microbiology from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Angela then pursued their Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Microbiology at the University of Newcastle from 1994 to 1996.
