Antonio González Cuevas

Antonio González Cuevas has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2003, they joined ESCUELA SUPERIOR DE DISEÑO (ESDi) as the Director of Technological Development (CIO/CTO), where they stayed until November 2020. Antonio then joined Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2019 as a Professor and a Member of the High Performance Computing for Efficient Applications and Simulation Research Group. In addition, they worked at vadeCity and vadeBike as the Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Information Officer (CIO) from November 2019 to May 2023. Currently, Antonio is working as the Executive Director at both vadeCity and vadeBike.

Antonio González Cuevas has an extensive education history. Antonio began their academic journey in 1998 at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they pursued a degree in Informática and graduated as a Licenciado en Informática in 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in High Performance Computing from the same institution in 2010-2011.

In 2018-2019, Antonio enrolled in EUDE Business School, where they completed two different programs. Antonio earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and also pursued a Master's degree in Marketing and Sales Management.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, they joined the Universitat de Barcelona in 2019 for a specialization course in Digital Transformation. In 2022, Antonio returned to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona to pursue a PhD in High Performance Computing for the Efficient Applications and Simulation Research Group.

Through their educational journey, Antonio González Cuevas has developed a strong foundation in informatics, with a focus on high-performance computing. Antonio has also gained expertise in areas such as marketing, sales management, and digital transformation.
