Nick Matiichenko

Nick Matiichenko has over 14 years of work experience in various roles in the software development and ecommerce industries. Nick is currently the Global Head of Engineering at Vaimo, a Magento solution provider, where they are responsible for leading and growing the engineering team. Prior to this, they served as a Business Unit Manager and Solution Architect at Vaimo, overseeing delivery teams and ensuring client satisfaction in the BeNeLux region.

Before joining Vaimo, Nick worked as a Senior Project Manager and PM Lead at Vaimo, handling challenging and interesting projects. Nick also worked as a Project Manager at MageCore, where they helped clients achieve results using the Magento ecommerce platform.

Earlier in their career, Nick was a Project Manager and Branch Director at Smile, a company specializing in open-source software development. Nick also served as a Project Manager at VK Production Group, where they managed a team of developers and ensured proper delivery of software and PR projects.

Nick's work experience began at Belosoft, where they worked as an Analyst and gained experience in client communication, quality assurance, and document management. Nick also worked with distributed teams and offshore resources during their time at Belosoft.

Nick Matiichenko earned a Master's degree in Informatique Décisionnelle et Statistique pour le Management from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2009. Nick also holds a Master's degree in System Analysis from NTU KhPI, completed in 2009. In addition, they obtained a Master's degree in Statistics and Prediction from Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics in 2009.
