Geanpaul Mercera

Geanpaul Mercera has a diverse range of work experience in the field of business intelligence and consulting. Geanpaul started their career at Petrogas in 2010 as an Information Analyst, where they were responsible for analyzing and setting up the company's intranet using SharePoint. In 2015, they joined ZorgAccent as an Information Analyst, focusing on information analysis, data modeling, and SWOT analysis within the field of home care.

In 2016, Geanpaul moved to Dimensys Process & IT Consulting, where they worked as a User Experience & SAP UI5 Consultant. In this role, they analyzed user experience and translated information needs into user-friendly applications built in the SAPUI5 framework. Geanpaul also maintained client relationships using the Design Thinking method.

In 2017, Geanpaul joined Solipsisgroep as a BI/PM Consultant, specializing in Business Intelligence tools such as QlikView and Qlik Sense. Geanpaul worked closely with clients to understand their information needs and developed dashboards to help organizations find answers.

Currently, Geanpaul is working at Valcon as a (Sr.) Specialist Data, starting in early 2021. Their role involves utilizing Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView, T-SQL, and SSRS to meet clients' information needs and develop data dashboards.

Throughout their career, Geanpaul has shown expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, and client relationship management, and has demonstrated skills in various tools and frameworks within the field.

Geanpaul Mercera has a Bachelor's degree in ICT & Business from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, which was obtained from 2008 to 2015. During their time at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, they also pursued a minor in ERP & BI from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Geanpaul Mercera has obtained several certifications. Geanpaul is a Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, having completed the certification in March 2021. Geanpaul also holds certifications in Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org (obtained in March 2021), Exam 778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI from Microsoft (obtained in October 2019), Querying Data with Transact-SQL from Microsoft (obtained in July 2019), Qlik Sense Business Analyst from Qlik (obtained in August 2018), and QlikView 12 Business Analyst from Qlik (obtained in June 2018).
