Ron Persky

Ron Persky has extensive work experience in the field of software development, with a focus on real-time embedded systems. Ron has worked at various companies, starting with the Israel Security Agency from 2006 to 2008, where they were involved in technology and information security.

From 2008 to 2010, Persky worked at ECI Telecom as a RT embedded Engineer, developing RT embedded VoIP for triple-play products. Ron demonstrated proficiency in C development, SIP, and H.

In 2010, Persky joined PMC-Sierra, where they developed RT embedded firmware for fiber optic Networking products. Ron possessed deep knowledge of the product Network Engine and Traffic Manager and also worked closely with customers for support.

In 2012, Persky started working at Valens as an RT SW Engineer, where they developed RT embedded firmware for cutting-edge technology. Ron led the design, architecture, and implementation of several modules, drivers, and protocols. Additionally, they were skilled in C and C++ development and had expertise in HDbaseT, HDMI, EDID, CEC, HDCP, PCIe, and CSI.

At Valens, Persky progressed to become the FW Team Leader from 2014 to 2017, responsible for the product architecture, functions, implementation, and testing. Ron guided and mentored software development engineers.

From 2017 to 2020, Persky served as the FW Group Leader at Valens, managing a real-time embedded software development group. Ron had complete responsibility for the development and support of multiple projects, as well as managing interfaces within the company and building and maintaining the group's technological skills.

In 2020, Persky took on the role of Staff SW Architect in the CTO group at Valens. The details of their responsibilities during this role were not provided.

Ron Persky received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Bar-Ilan University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Ron later pursued further education at Tel Aviv University, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Financing and Entrepreneurship. Ron attended Tel Aviv University from 2012 to 2014.
