Shannon Zengler Sphr

Shannon Zengler, SPHR, SHRM-CP has a varied work experience in the field of human resources. Shannon currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources at Valeo Financial Advisors LLC since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at GEICO where they served as a Staff Development Business Partner from November 2015 to July 2018. Before that, they held roles of Corporate Trainer/Supervisor, Quality Assurance Analyst, and Customer Service Representative at GEICO from June 2013 to November 2015, June 2012 to June 2013, and January 2011 to June 2012 respectively. Shannon began their career as an Assistant Director at KinderCare Education from August 2009 to January 2011.

Shannon Zengler, SPHR, SHRM-CP, has a strong education history in the arts and human resources. Shannon attended Stephens College from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art Education. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, they attended the Florida School of the Arts, where they obtained both an Associate of Science (A.S.) and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General.

In addition to their educational background, Shannon has also obtained several certifications. Shannon became a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in July 2023 through HRCI and a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in June 2020 through SHRM. Furthermore, they achieved certifications in various other fields, including Certified Underwriter from GEICO in April 2016, CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) from The Institutes CPCU Society in March 2016, and AINS (Associate in General Insurance) from The Institutes in May 2012.
