Katie Knowlton

Katie Knowlton has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and creative advertising. Katie is currently working as a Lead Visual Designer at Valimail since May 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Beam Suntory, starting as a Senior Art Director from March 2018 to February 2022, and later as an Associate Creative Director from February 2022 onwards. Katie also served as a Mentor at Chicago Portfolio School from November 2021 to May 2023. In their earlier career, Katie worked at VML as an Art Director from August 2015 to March 2018, at Cavalry as an Art Director from September 2013 to September 2015, and as a Freelance Art Director at Y&R from January 2015 to August 2015. Katie also worked as a Freelance Art Director at Foodmix Marketing Communications from August 2013 to November 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as an Art Direction Intern at Translation LLC from June 2013 to August 2013. Furthermore, Katie worked as an Art Director at Chicago Portfolio School from an unspecified date in 2012 to June 2013. Katie began their career as a Student and later served as a Design Intern at Michigan State University, where they gained in-depth experience in designing various materials and led a creative team for an advertising campaign.
