Kurt Kastner

Kurt Kastner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kurt began their career as the Commanding Officer of USS SAN ANTONIO in 2007 and continued in this role until 2008. Kurt then moved on to become the Commanding Officer of Engineering Assessments Atlantic from 2009 to 2011. In 2015, Kastner became the Commanding Officer of USS WASP, a position they held until 2016. Following this, they joined Commander Naval Surface Force, Atlantic as the ACOS Readiness and Assessments from 2016 to 2020. Currently, Kastner holds the position of Vice President and Operations Manager at Valkyrie Enterprises since April 2020.

Kurt Kastner's education history is as follows:

From 1985 to 1989, Kurt attended Maine Maritime Academy, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marine Engineering Technology.

In 1994 to 1995, they pursued further education at Naval Postgraduate School, completing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services.

In 2006, Kurt enrolled at U.S. Naval War College and obtained a Master's degree in National Security Policy Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Kurt holds two certifications. Kurt obtained a Master Training Specialist certification from the US Navy in May 2006. Additionally, they earned a Third Engineers License from USCG in April 1989.
