Joseph Catapano

Group President, Global Telecommunications at Valmont Industries

Joe Catapano serves as president of global telecommunications, where he is responsible for developing and implementing telecommunications strategy and growth around the world. Joe started with Valmont in 2008 when his business, Site Pro 1, was acquired by the company. He served as general manager of Site Pro 1 and led its growth until being promoted to vice president of communications systems in 2019. He moved into his current role in 2020.The portfolio of products offered from the telecommunications division includes an expansive line of small cell products, self-supporting and guyed towers, monopoles, concealment solutions and wireless site components.

Prior to working with Valmont and founding Site Pro 1, Joe founded Site Advantage, a provider of stainless steel hardware products for the communications industry, which was later acquired. Joe received his bachelor’s degree in political science and business from SUNY Albany and his JD from St John’s University School of Law.
