Blake H.

Blake H. has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology risk. They began their career at Verizon Wireless in 2009 as an Experience Specialist. In 2015, they joined GE Digital as an Incident Responder, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they gained experience in cybersecurity and technology risk. Following their role at GE Digital, Blake joined CarMax as a Cybersecurity Engineer II in 2017 and was later promoted to Senior Cybersecurity Engineer in 2019. In 2021, Blake moved to GE as a Senior Incident Responder before joining Valo in 2022 as a Senior Security Engineer.

Blake H. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science with a focus on Network Security from ECPI University. In 2014, they obtained the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification from (ISC)². In 2015, they obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate MTA 98-367 Security Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. In 2017, they obtained two additional certifications: the Blue Coat Certified ProxySG Administrator (BCCPA) and the Blue Coat Certified ProxySG Professional (BCCPP), both from Blue Coat Systems, which was acquired by Symantec.
