Sofia Mendes

Sofia Mendes currently serves as a Vendedora at Decathlon Portugal and is the Founder of The Crochet Garden Co., an initiative highlighted on Instagram under the handle @thecrochetgardenco. Additionally, Sofia is engaged in a Curricular Internship at Valorsul within the Innovation, Development, Strategy and Performance (IDED) team, focusing on urban waste management product design. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistente de vendas at Inditex, a Social Media Manager at Artview, and a Summer Intern at Design Factory Aveiro, where a project was developed for global Design Factory representation. Sofia also held financial responsibilities at the Núcleo de Estudantes de Design da AAUAv, organizing various events and managing monthly accounting. Education includes a Master's in Product Design from the Faculdade de Arquitetura - Universidade de Lisboa and a Bachelor's in Design from the Universidade de Aveiro.
