Peter Layton

Peter Layton has a diverse work history spanning various industries. Peter started their career in 2006 as an Intern and Development Temp at the Boston Symphony Orchestra. From 2006 to 2013, they worked at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, initially as an Admissions Counselor and later as a Senior Admissions Counselor and eventually as the Director of Admission. In 2013, they joined Digital Wave Technologies as the Director of CustomViewbook Sales. Peter then moved to Blackboard in 2014, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Business Analyst, Senior Manager of Education Services, and Director of Institutional Performance. In 2018, they joined Vemo Education as the Director of Business Intelligence before transitioning to Vanco as the Vice President of Business Intelligence. Peter currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Business Systems and Analytics at Vanco.

Peter Layton attended the New England Conservatory of Music from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, but did not complete a degree.
