Braeden Schiltroth is a highly experienced Senior Biologist/Aquarist currently at Vancouver Aquarium since March 2014, having advanced from Assistant Biologist/Aquarist in the Propagation Department and holding roles such as Sleepover Coordinator and Teaching Staff. Prior to this position, Braeden served as a Researcher at Simon Fraser University from 2015 to 2020, where research focused on evaluating the thermal tolerance of bull kelp in the Salish Sea as part of a Plant and Algal Development Lab. Additional experience includes working as an Activities Leader/Tour Guide at International Language Schools of Canada from 2014 to 2017. Braeden holds a Master of Science in Biology from Simon Fraser University, earned in 2018.
