Mallika Iyer

Mallika Iyer, Ph.D., currently serves as a Computational Biologist III at VantAI, having joined the company in June 2022 after progressing from roles including Computational Biologist and Computational Biology Intern. Prior to this, Mallika completed a Ph.D. at Sanford Burnham Prebys, where research focused on protein structure, flexibility, and function, resulting in contributions to multiple manuscripts as both first author and co-first author. Additionally, teaching roles at various institutions included responsibilities as a teaching assistant for courses in statistics, cellular communication, general chemistry labs, and tutoring in physics and chemistry. Mallika earned a Master of Science in Integrated Sciences from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Chemistry from Fergusson College.
