Per G. Godø

Per G. Godø has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Per G. is currently working as an Operations Geologist at Vår Energi since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant Geologist & Manager at Geo-West AS since 2007. In 2012, they joined IKM Acona as a Consultant Operations Geologist / Senior Wellsite Geologist.

In 2020, Per worked as a Wellsite Geologist at Spirit Energy. Per G. was responsible for the exploration wells in the Barents Sea and the North Sea.

From 2019 to 2020, they served as an Operations Geologist at Wintershall Dea.

In 2017 and 2018, they worked as a Wellsite Geologist at Spirit Energy, where they were involved in the Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea drilling projects.

Per G. started their career as a Project Geologist at Sunnfjord Geo Center in 2016. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Geologist at Lundin Norway AS from 2012 to 2016.

Per also has experience as a Consultant Senior Wellsite Geologist at Odin Petroleum AS from 2007 to 2012. Per G. was involved in drilling and geosteering of production and exploration wells for various companies.

Per G. began their career at Aker Kvaerner Geo AS as a Consultant Wellsite Geologist, where they worked on projects for Norsk Hydro, including drilling and geosteering of multilateral oil production wells on the Troll Field.

Per G. Godø attended Florø Gymnas from 1976 to 1979, where they did not obtain a degree, nor did they specify a field of study. Later, from 1982 to 1994, they studied at the University of Bergen (UiB), where they obtained a degree in Cand. Schient. Per G.'sfield of study at UiB was Petroleum Geology / Sedimentology.
