Chengzhong Shan

Chengzhong Shan is an experienced operations and engineering professional with a strong background in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as the CN Operation Director at Varex Imaging Corporation since November 2014, Chengzhong leads initiatives for factory site selection, investment negotiations, licensing applications, and team formation across engineering, quality, regulatory, and logistics functions. Prior to this role, Chengzhong was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer NPI Manager at Philips Healthcare, managing a department of over 25 engineers and overseeing NPI for multiple medical imaging products. Additional experience includes project management at GE Sensing and Inspection, operations leadership at GE Healthcare, and production engineering at BenQ, where significant manufacturing transfers and product launches were successfully executed. Chengzhong holds a degree in Electrical Control from Wuhan University, completed in 2001.
