Matti Nylander

Matti Nylander's work experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Varjo since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at HMD Global from 2016 to 2017 as the Director of Finance, where they were responsible for setting up and managing financial processes and overseeing corporate functions. From 2014 to 2016, Nylander held various roles at Microsoft, including Senior Manager of Finance Integration and Head of Portfolio and Business Management F&C. Matti also worked at Nokia from 2006 to 2014 as the Head of Portfolio and Business Management F&C, Senior Business Controller, and Portfolio Controller. Throughout their career, Nylander has demonstrated expertise in financial management, business control, and portfolio planning.

Matti Nylander earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan during 1998-2002. Matti then pursued Information and Services Management studies at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 2003 onwards.
