Gini Grimsley Ms, Cscs-D

Gini Grimsley, MS, CSCS-D has a diverse work experience in the fitness industry. Gini started their career as a Student Athlete at UNC Greensboro from 2005 to 2009. Gini then interned at Appalachian Regional Healthcare System as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Intern in 2012, where they assisted with various tasks related to cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Appalachian State University as the Director of Basketball Operations, handling film exchange, team activities, and game scheduling. In 2013, they joined Wellbridge as a Certified Personal Trainer, creating fitness solutions for clients and utilizing exercise physiology and biomechanical concepts. Gini was later promoted to the role of Personal Training Manager, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the personal training department and developed a team of talented trainers. In 2016, they moved to Colorado Athletic Club Monaco as the Personal Training Manager, overseeing operations, hiring and developing trainers, and managing the department's budget. In 2018, they joined VASA FITNESS as the Director of T.E.A.M. Training, and later took on roles as the Director of Personal Training & Specialty Programs, and the Director of Fitness Product.

Gini Grimsley, MS, CSCS-D, earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Exercise Physiology at Appalachian State University.

In addition to their degrees, Gini has obtained several certifications relevant to their field. Gini is a Corrective Exercise Specialist certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Furthermore, they hold the designation of Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
