Alysson Bessani

Alysson Bessani has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2006, they began their career as a Researcher at LASIGE. Since January 2022, they have been serving as the Director of LASIGE. In 2015, they also became an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Sciences University of Lisbon. Additionally, Alysson Bessani co-founded Vawlt - Your Data's Safe in November 2016 and served as a Tech-advisor. Alysson also worked as a Visiting Researcher at Microsoft in May 2014. In 2010, they were a Visiting Professor at Carnegie Mellon University from January to May.

Alysson Bessani completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Estadual de Maringá between 1997 and 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2001 to 2002. Finally, Alysson Bessani obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2002 to 2006.
