Tobias Ameling

Tobias Ameling has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tobias is currently working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Vay, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Samvardhana Motherson Reydel Companies from September 2015 to July 2022 as a Product Development Engineer (Application Engineer). In this role, they focused on injection molded dashboard assemblies and related components, and was considered an expert in passenger airbag systems. Before that, Tobias worked as a Product Development Engineer at the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at Technische Universität Dresden from 2013 to 2014. Tobias also gained experience at Airbus, where they worked as a Graduate Student from August 2011 to May 2012 and as an Intern from May 2011 to August 2011. Tobias started their career as an Intern at LZS GmbH from August 2010 to January 2011 and as a Student Assistant at the Institute for Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK), TU Dresden from June 2009 to December 2010.
