Adil Asif is an Associate Applied Machine Learning Specialist at Vector Institute since May 2021, focusing on robot end effector grasp predictions and collaborating with prominent researchers. Adil also holds experience as a Student Researcher, contributing to a paper published at CoRL 2023. Prior to this role, Adil worked as an Applied Machine Learning Intern, engaging in CNN optimization research under Professor Roger Grosse. Earlier experience includes a Data Science Internship at Group 42, where Adil led a project predicting blood sepsis using the complete machine learning cycle. Adil earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, following A Levels and IGCSE from GEMS Cambridge International School in Abu Dhabi.
