Dave Voutila

Dave Voutila has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dave is currently working as a Solutions Engineer at Redpanda Data since April 2023. Prior to this, from 2016 onwards, they were the Owner of Sisu Integrated Services, LLC where they provided practical expertise for independent software vendors and IT solution providers. Dave'sresponsibilities included software sales, development, and marketing, focusing on web and network services and infrastructure.

From 2019 to 2023, Dave worked at Neo4j in various roles. Dave started as a Sales Engineer and then became a Senior Sales Engineer. Finally, they served as a Sales Engineering Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for sales engineering and managing technical teams.

Before Neo4j, Dave worked at Task Analytics as the VP of Solutions & Operations from 2018 to 2019. Dave also served as the US Technical Advisor from 2017 to 2018. At Task Analytics, they led the technical go-to-market efforts, drove customer satisfaction, and managed the SaaS infrastructure.

From 2012 to 2015, Dave worked at Attivio in various roles, including Solutions Manager and Lead Solutions Architect. Dave managed Solution Architects across regions and provided expertise and guidance to clients. At Attivio, they helped organizations utilize the Attivio Active Intelligence Engine for data management.

Prior to Attivio, Dave worked at Empirix from 2005 to 2009. Dave served as an Expert Solutions Consultant and Sales Engineer in the Enterprise Solutions and Web divisions. At Empirix, they specialized in designing and delivering complex end-to-end testing and monitoring solutions and helped design solutions for voice and data networks.

Dave Voutila obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Sciences from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. These include the Neo4j Graph Data Science Certified from Neo4j in June 2022, Software Security and Usable Security certifications from Coursera in August 2019, and the Udacity Full Stack Web Developer certification from Udacity in 2015.
