Michael Perkins

Michael Perkins has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael started their career with AstraZeneca in 2011, gaining practical work experience in biology and chemistry. Michael then worked as a Food, Bar, and Events Assistant at The Tytherington Club, where they built and maintained relationships with customers and assisted in event organization. After that, Michael joined ESP Technology LTD as a Research Scientist, focusing on the research and development of a novel vascular access graft. Michael later moved to Advanced Medical Solutions, where they held various roles, including Senior R&D Technologist and Product Manager. During their time at Advanced Medical Solutions, they successfully drove new product launches and was responsible for a Class III device submission to the FDA. Michael's most recent position was as a Lead Design Assurance Engineer at Vectura Group, where they applied their expertise in design assurance.

Michael Perkins completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2015. Michael then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Management Practice from Alliance Manchester Business School, which they completed in 2022. Prior to their university education, Michael Perkins attended All Hallows College for high school from 2005 to 2012.
