Sharon's earlier roles at GSK included European Migration Lead, Director of Transitions, European Service Delivery Lead, Senior Process Owner, Design & Process Lead for a UK outsource project, and Business Process Improvement Manager.

Prior to GSK, Sharon worked as a Consultant at Itim Management Consulting, where they gained experience in various consulting projects.

Sharon began their career at Siemens as a graduate trainee and progressed to roles such as Management Accountant and Financial Accounting Manager.

Sharon Eyre obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in German & Management Studies from the University of Leeds from 1988 to 1992. Sharon also pursued accounting studies at Various Accounting Colleges from 1993 to 1996, earning the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification.
