Sharon Eyre

Sharon Eyre has a diverse work experience in finance and process management. Sharon currently holds the position of Vice President Finance Operations & Transformation at Vectura Group plc. In this role, they are responsible for developing and managing the Finance Operations function, including implementing a new finance roadmap.

Prior to joining Vectura, Sharon worked at GSK for over 16 years, where they held various roles. Sharon'sfinal role at GSK was as Global Process Owner for Trading Partners and Supply Chain Finance. Here, they created and implemented the vision for the Trading Partner Business Unit, working closely with senior business leaders to enhance operational effectiveness.

Before that, Sharon served as the Finance Director of GSK Trading Partners, managing financial integrity and compliance for the company's branches across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and CIS markets. Sharon also led the implementation of a business-critical global ERP system.

Sharon's earlier roles at GSK included European Migration Lead, Director of Transitions, European Service Delivery Lead, Senior Process Owner, Design & Process Lead for a UK outsource project, and Business Process Improvement Manager.

Prior to GSK, Sharon worked as a Consultant at Itim Management Consulting, where they gained experience in various consulting projects.

Sharon began their career at Siemens as a graduate trainee and progressed to roles such as Management Accountant and Financial Accounting Manager.

Overall, Sharon Eyre has a strong background in finance operations, process improvement, and project management, with experience in the pharmaceutical and consulting industries.

Sharon Eyre obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in German & Management Studies from the University of Leeds from 1988 to 1992. Sharon also pursued accounting studies at Various Accounting Colleges from 1993 to 1996, earning the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification.
