John Emmett

John Emmett has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. John is currently working as a Research Associate II at Vedere Bio II, where they perform analytical testing to support research and process development. John also manages the lab inventory and collaborates with the head of Analytics to evaluate new technology.

Prior to this, John worked at Moderna as a Manufacturing Associate, where they were involved in the production of the COVID-19 vaccine and created a delay tracking platform to improve batch production efficiency.

John also has experience as an Associate Research Scientist at EMD Serono, Inc., where they were involved in the early phases of biologic discovery process and developed antibodies for pipeline projects in immunooncology, oncology, and immunotherapeutics.

In addition, John has entrepreneurial experience as the co-founder and leader of Shuffl Inc., where they structured the formation of a licensed domestic profit corporation and raised funding for the development of an iOS application.

Before that, they served as the Head of Technical Analysis and Co-founder at Official Crypto Central, where they led a team of analysts and published trading ideas for a subscriber community.

Additionally, John worked as a Research Assistant at Franklin & Marshall College, where they produced scientific articles and conducted independent research on squid species. John also worked as a Biology Researcher sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), conducting marine biology research and investigating the biomechanics of cephalopods.

John Emmett's education history begins with their attendance at Calvert School from 1999 to 2009. Following this, they attended Gilman School from 2009 to 2013. John then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at Franklin & Marshall College from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they also attended Studio Arts College International, studying Fine and Studio Arts, although the end date for this program is unknown. Most recently, John earned their Master of Science degree in Biotechnology with a Molecular Concentration from Northeastern University from 2019 to 2020, achieving a GPA of 3.7 in the program.
