Cynthia Grynspan

Design Director at Veestro

Cynthia Grynspan has a long and varied work experience. Cynthia began their career in 2005 as Manager of Marketing and Graphics Department at SOLARIUM Costa Rica, the largest development project in Costa Rica. In this role, they designed corporate identity and marketing materials and managed marketing campaigns. In 2007, they started their own business, Chi Designs, a graphic design and marketing consulting firm. Here, they conceptualized and created clients' corporate images and designed and developed multimedia projects for over 70 clients. In 2008, they started another business, Dots Collectibles, a handmade and unique collectible plushies shop. Here, they created designs and administered production from purchase of materials to fabrication of products and developed marketing strategy and launched the company in various sales channels. In 2010, they took on the role of General Manager at Natural Stone R&S, a stone solutions for residential and commercial projects. In this role, they supervised showroom, administrative group and factory workers (team of 60) and managed overall finances. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Graphic Artist at Raul Avila Inc., an event design company. Here, they designed and hand painted napkins for the Met Costume Institute Benefit Gala and created hand renders for the event. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Junior Interior Designer at HLW. In 2018, they moved to MKDA as an Interior Designer, and in 2020, they took on the role of Design Director at Veestro.

Cynthia Grynspan obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design between 2011 and 2014. Cynthia also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale between 2003 and 2005. Additionally, they have taken courses in Marketing and Finance at the Graduate Level at the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología.
