James Shekerdemian

James Shekerdemian has extensive experience in the financial industry. Currently, they are the Managing Director at VegaX: Better Indexes, Better Returns. Prior to this, they worked at Societe Generale as the Head of APAC Prime Services from September 2015 to August 2020. Before that, they served as the Global Head of Hedge Fund Sales at Newedge from February 2012 to August 2015. James also worked at JP Morgan as a Managing Director from March 2007 to January 2012. Their earlier experience includes being the Head of Quantitative International Prime Brokerage Sales at Lehman Brothers.

James Shekerdemian's education history begins in 1987 when they enrolled at DePaul University. James completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies in 1989. Following this, James pursued further education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1989 to 1990. During this time, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Asian Trade/Finance with Japanese.
