JEFF WOLFE

Co-Founder, CEO at Veloce Energy

Jeff Wolfe has a long and varied career in the energy industry, beginning in 1986 when they worked as a Senior Engineer for AmTech Engineers, Inc. JEFF then moved to BR+A Consulting Engineers in 1989, where they were a Partner and Senior Vice President. In 1998, they founded and became the CEO and Chairman of groSolar, which was later sold to SolarCity in 2011 and then to EDF Renewables Distributed Solutions in 2016. In 2012, they started their own consulting firm, Jeff Wolfe Consulting, providing services in renewable energy, smart grid, EV's, and energy storage. In 2015, they joined Just Energy (NYSE: JE) as SVP of Business Strategy and President of TerraPass division. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Opportunity Origination, External Growth at Shell's Connected Energy and New Energies division. Finally, in 2019, they became President of Americas at Tritium Pty Ltd, where they were able to turn around the region and increase sales by 40x. Most recently, in 2018, they co-founded Veloce Energy to address the challenges facing the electricity sector due to the electrification of transportation.

Jeff Wolfe attended Cushing Academy from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained their high school diploma. JEFF then attended Cornell University from 1978 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. JEFF also holds a Registered Professional Engineer - Mechanical certification from the States of MA, IL, NH, and VT.
