Mara Thorpe

Mara Thorpe is a seasoned professional in brand and digital design, currently serving as the Brand & Digital Design Manager at Velocity, A Managed Solutions Company since December 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Creative Design Manager and Graphic Designer at VISION MEDIA, and adjunct faculty in Visual Effects/Motion Graphics at the Art Institute. Mara has also worked as a Graphic Designer at Cinema Scene Marketing and held freelance positions as an Independent Digital Graphics Artist. Previous experience includes working as a Motion Graphics Artist at Outpost Worldwide, Inc., and teaching Studio Arts/Computer Graphics at Odessa High School. Academically, Mara holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, both from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
