Brent Reeves

Brent Reeves has a diverse work experience spanning over 19 years in various roles related to technology operations and system administration. 🌱 Brent began their career at Microsoft as an Active Directory Support Technician before moving on to Creative Manufacturing Solutions LLC as a Field Support Technician. Brent then joined Groove Media Inc. as a Senior System Administrator, where they were responsible for internal operations and the deployment of the Skillground cloud gaming platform. 🌱 Brent continued their system administration roles at LiveXChange and Eloqua, where they supported data center builds and ensured the scalability and availability of systems.

Starting from 2010, Brent's career shifted towards management roles. 🌱 Brent became a Team Lead, Infrastructure at Eloqua, where they managed projects and coordinated activities among a team of technical staff. 🌱 Brent also worked at Oracle as a Manager, System Operations, where they led a split on-prem/virtual team responsible for supporting SaaS platforms. Brent went on to hold senior management roles at Oracle, specializing in DevOps and technology operations. 🌱 Brent'sresponsibilities included improving software quality, stability, and scale, as well as developing infrastructure solutions.

In 2018, Brent joined BlueCat as a Manager, Cloud Operations, where they streamlined team workflows and managed a team responsible for the company's hybrid cloud presence. Most recently, they have been serving as the Director of SRE at KAR Global, overseeing Site Reliability Engineering and playing a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and performance of the company's services.

In their current role, Brent serves as the Senior Director of SaaS Technology & Operations at Vena Solutions, where they leverleverager extensive experience to drive technology and operational initiatives. Overall, Brent's career progression demonstrates their strong expertise in technology operations, system administration, and management roles.

Brent Reeves attended Sheridan College from 2001 to 2004, where they studied Telecommunications Technology / System Analyst. 🌱 Brent also obtained additional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in April 2019 and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in February 2019 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
