Jean-Yves Provost

Jean-Yves Provost has extensive work experience in the field of IT and network services. Jean-Yves started their career at Transpac in 1988 and worked there until 1991. Jean-Yves then moved on to Transpac Network Services from 1992 to 1992. Jean-Yves also worked at France Telecom Network Services from 1992 to 1994. In 1995, they joined Datacraft Australia as a Systems Engineer until 1996 when they became a Business Development Manager at Global One until 1999.

From 2000 to 2019, they worked in various roles at Orange Business Services, including Senior Pre-Sales Consultant, Business Solutions Consultant, and Managed IT and Cloud Services Consultant. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at BT Global Services as a Sales Specialist before joining Thales e-Security as a Senior System Engineer ANZ from 2016 to 2019.

Since 2019, Jean-Yves Provost has been working at Venafi. Jean-Yves held the position of Solutions Architect Asia Pacific from 2019 to 2020 and is currently serving as the Director of Solutions Architect, APAC. In their roles at Venafi, they have been responsible for protecting and securing cryptographic keys and digital certificates for large networks.

Jean-Yves Provost has a Maitrise degree in Electronics (EEA) from Université de Rennes I, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. Jean-Yves also has a DUT GE degree in Electronics from the same university, which they earned from 1985 to 1987. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Venafi Security Administrator from Venafi in November 2023, CISSP from iSC2 in January 2004, Venafi Security Admin from Venafi in February 2019, CCDA from Cisco (obtained month and year unknown), and ITIL Foundation v3 (institution and obtained month/year unknown).
