Jarrod Whittaker has a diverse work experience with various organizations. Jarrod started their career as a Mechanical/Systems Engineering Intern at QinetiQ North America in 2011 and 2012. Jarrod then worked as an Aerospace Engineer at a.i. solutions from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they joined Vencore Inc. as an Aerospace Engineer II in 2017, where they supported the investigation of anomalies in launch vehicles and prepared engineering review board packages. From 2018 to the present, Jarrod has been working at NASA as an Aerospace Flight Systems AST and as a Vehicle Systems Engineer for NASA's Launch Services Program. In these roles, they lead engineering teams, ensures compliance with NASA and industry standards, and participates in technical exchanges with other NASA centers and industry partners. Jarrod also served as the Deputy System Manager for Propulsion for the Commercial Crew Program, overseeing propulsion system issues and resource planning activities. Prior to their professional career, Jarrod was a full-time student at the University of South Florida from 2009 to 2015.
Jarrod Whittaker earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida, graduating in 2015.
