We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our People and Culture team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you will collaborate with our People & Culture team and Vendavo’s leaders to drive and deliver company-wide programs and initiatives. The need for operational, strategic, and forward-looking HR partnership is paramount.

The role is based in Bangalore and the Senior P&C Business Partner will be working in close partnership with our business leaders, employees, and P&C team. You will be on the front line working closely with leadership to be able to provide hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice to ensure a high level of organizational effectiveness through ongoing performance management, engagement, organizational design analysis and change management, talent assessments, leadership development and succession planning.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Provides full cycle, strategic HR support for leaders and employees in assigned business areas (across countries).
  • Oversees and drives the P&C agenda for our India team. (Acts as main point of contact for employees and managers in India.)
  • Develops and maintains a position of trusted advisor to management and employees on all P&C- related matters.
  • In cooperation with P&C Specialist supports the administration of daily people agenda –  employment agreements, payroll, benefits programs etc. and interacts closely with other P&C colleagues.
  • Champions organizational change, development, and effectiveness, including succession planning, talent development, and engagement.
  • Provides consultation on day-to-day employee issues and performance management guidance (i.e. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary action).
  • Analyzes HR metrics and data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, using findings to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of P&C Team initiatives across the organization.
  • Drives initiatives regarding culture, organizational change, engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepares and organizes events for employees and supports the company culture.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to create an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees. This includes facilitating the planning for new employee onboarding.
  • Ensures compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Stays informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, proactively incorporating insights into the HR strategies and practices to maintain alignment with business goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

THE SKILL SET

  • Located in Bangalore.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant HR experience in India.
  • Advanced knowledge of Human Resource principles and practices, and laws and regulations related to employment.
  • Ability to strategically utilize HR data and metrics to inform decision-making, measure HR effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • A broad technical expertise in employee relations, engagement and retention, policy interpretation and application, planning and other HR processes and programs.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills (written and verbal), conveying information with confidence and clarity.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with all levels in the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to be flexible and available to interact with teammates at all levels; ability to be self-directed and motivated.
  • Experience as HR practitioner in a multi-national organization with proven experience of working across different countries & cultures, strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed, as the role cooperates with colleagues from different global locations
