Rory Jacob

Rory Jacob has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, Rory is working at Vendia as a Principal Engineer, starting in December 2022. Prior to Vendia, Rory worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2016 to 2021, holding positions such as Senior Software Engineer and Software Development Engineer. Before AWS, Rory worked at Amazon as an SDE 2 and SDE I in the Legal IT department from 2013 to 2015. Rory's earlier work experience includes being a Research Assistant at the Internet Innovations Centre from 2011 to 2013, and a Development Intern at Vanguard Direct in 2012.

Rory Jacob attended the University of Manitoba from 2008 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. During this time, they also supplemented their studies with a minor in Computer Science. Rory'sprimary field of study was in Computer Engineering.
